Is there car parking?
Car parking at Nedwood Music Festival is free and the parking area’s are clearly signposted from the entrance of the site.
Is there a drop off/pick up point?
Drop off/pick up points are located at the main entrance to Nedwood and will be clearly signposted from the surrounding access roads.
How old do I need to be to attend Nedwood Music Festival?
Nedwood Music Festival is open to everyone but we do have some restrictions to ensure safety and enjoyment for everyone. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult (over 21) Legal drinking age restrictions apply 18+.
What ID do I need to bring along?
Your email confirmation is sufficient for box office collections, there will be box offices located at the entrance to the site. Accepted forms of ID for age verification should be photographic i.e. driving licence/passport etc that states clearly proof of age.
What if I can't attend?
All tickets are sold on a non-exchange, no refund basis.
Will tickets be posted?
Once you have booked online, we will send you a confirmation email with either the tickets attached or with a link to your online account. All communication will be sent to the email address provided on booking. If you don’t see it, please check any junk or spam folders. Should you not be able to access your tickets please contact info@nedwood.co.uk
Will I get a wristband?
Once your E-ticket has been scanned on entry you will recieve an secure wristband which will be securely fastened, you must not remove this at any time while attending the Festival. If you damage your wristband you can exchange it at the box office, please note there will be a £5 charge! All Nedwood Music Festival tickets incorporate a barcode which will be scanned on entry so please do not purchase from unofficial outlets or touts!
Can I leave Nedwood Music Festival and come back?
There is no re-entry for day or weekend ticket holders to the festival site, except for campers or by permission of the organisers.
What is provided at Nedwood Music Festival?
Toilets, disabled toilets, token showers in the campsite’s. There will be plenty of toilets and disabled toilets in the main arena.
What time does the festival open?
The box office will be open from 10am each day of the festival. The camping entrance opens at 10 am on Friday 23rd August.
What time does the festival close?
The music stops at 11:50pm each night but there will be a silent disco from 12 midnight – 2am. The silent disco will be bookable each day at the box office on a first come first served basis. No access to the main arena will be allowed from 12 midnight until 12 noon.
Is there a separate camping area for families?
A separate Family camping area will be available, please follow the signs on the day, this campsite is only available to families (parent accompanied) The family campsite operatates a zero tolerance approach. Any persons causing disturbance to any other campers will be requested to leave.
Can I camp for one night?
Yes you can providing you have bought a ticket.
Can I park by my tent?
In the interests of safety NO, the car park is just a short walk from the campsite, so keep this in mind when packing for the weekend.
Can we bring a caravan or Motor home?
Yes you can. We have a separate campsite for caravans and motor homes.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, but there are strict conditions/restrictions regarding this, NO DOGS WILL BE PERMITTED WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORISATION PRE-BOOKING, if you wish to attend please contact info@nedwood.co.uk prior to booking your tickets.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes but you will not be pemitted to bring alcohol into the main arena’s, bars are provided on site. Campers may bring alcohol into the campsite but NO GLASS containers of any sort. Alcohol will be taken off you if you are under age and ID will be checked on entry! The following will be permitted on first arrival at the festival THERE WILL BE NO RE-STOCKING! wine by the box and 12 cans of beer. There will be no wheelbarrows! All alcohol must be carried by hand. Campers may bring stoves but strictly NO BBQ’s and NO GLASS CONTAINERS WILL BE ALLOWED.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
No food or drink will be permitted to be brought into the main arena’s. Reasonably priced food and snacks available from many vendors. One small 500ml sealed bottle of water per person will be allowed when entering the main arena’s. NO GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY SORT. If you are camping you will be allowed to bring your own food and drink in to the camping area ONLY.
Can I bring chairs, umbrella's or gazebo's to the site?
Campers can bring a fold up chair into the campsite and arena. Please note tables and chairs will be in situ within the main arena. If you have any questions please contact info@nedwood.co.uk
Can I bring a camera?
Yes, you can bring a domestic camera. Anything deemed professional will be prohibited.

Is there anything that I shouldn't bring to the Festival?
Offensive weapons, illegal drugs, glass, pets or laser pens, umbrellas or gazebo’s or any other offensive or illegal material.
What should I remember to bring to the festival?
Your ticket, proof of ID, Cash and a debit card (keep it safe) sunscreen, sunglasses and rainwear.
Sound and Light warnings?
Please note that smoke machnes and strobe lights may be in use during the event. Exposure to loud music can cause permanent damage to your hearing.
PLEASE READ! Security, Searches and Illegal Drugs Policy ?
Event Security will be thoroughly checking all bags belonging to ticket holders upon entry. Nedwood Music Festival want to promote a safe environment for all customers, guests and staff, searching is a condition of entry to the Festival and any refusal of a search will result in admission being refused. Anyone found in possesion of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission or ejected from the site and may also be liable for prosecution. Any items that the organisers consider may be used in an illegal manner will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying out illegal and/or offensive activities onsite may be searched. PLEASE BE AWARE! The right to admission to the festival is reserved by the organisers and event venue, which at their reasonable discretion may from time to time carry out security searches should their be concerns in relation to Health & Safety, environmental and Security issues. Nedwood Ltd advise that no refunds will be given to those who are refused entry and or ejected from site for being or appearing to be under age and attempt to buy or have alcohol bought for them, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening or drunken behaviour or any other anti-social behaviour, carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances – we operate a ZERO TOLERANCE PROCEEDURE.
POLICE POLICY?
The Premises Licence issued to Nedwood Music Festival by Charnwood Borough Council has conditions attached to it in relation to the reporting of crime and formulates a drug policy with Leicestershire Police. You will be searched at the entrance, any items which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Neither anti-social or illegal behaviour will be tolerated and offenders will be ejected from the event. Surrender bins will be provided to encourage festival goers to deposit any drugs in these bins before entering the site, these bins will be subject to appropriate security measures. These are surrender bins and not amnesty bins and Police will, where it is in the public interest take appropriate investigative measures. The Police will expect that a robust, effective search proceedure is in place. Where there are grounds to suspect that a person is involved in the supply of Controlled Drugs, they will be arrested and dealt with by the Police. The details of Security Staff detaining any persons for offences will be recorded as witness details on the Police Crime Information System and Statements obtained.
